Terms and Conditions

MySelf Studio: a private, digitally automated training studio located in Lisbon, fully managed through the online platform at www.myselfstudio.pt.

Platform: the MySelf Studio website and customer area, used to manage packs, bookings, payments, and the digital unlocking of the studio door.

User: a person aged 18 or older who registers on the platform and uses MySelf Studio services.

Paying User: the person responsible for the booking payment, whether for themselves or third parties.

Personal Trainer (PT): an independent professional who may provide training services inside MySelf Studio. PTs are not studio employees.

Space: the exclusive physical facility of MySelf Studio, in Lisbon, intended for physical exercise.

Slot: a bookable time unit with a fixed 60-minute duration.

Session Pack: a set of pre-paid bookings with a fixed duration per slot. Each pack type has its own validity.

2.1 Minimum Age

Use of the platform and the space is only allowed for users aged 18 or older. Minors may only use the studio when accompanied by their Personal Trainer, under the PT's responsibility. MySelf Studio is not responsible for unauthorised access by minors.

2.2 User Account

The user must create a personal account with truthful, complete, and up-to-date information, and is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials. MySelf Studio is not responsible for unauthorised access resulting from shared or negligent credentials.

• Bookings and payments are processed exclusively through the MySelf Studio platform.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified partner. MySelf Studio does not store full card numbers.
• Physical access to the studio is unlocked from the platform during the booked period.
• Packs have their own validity. Sessions not used within that window expire automatically and are non-refundable.
• All bookings are personal and non-transferable. The Paying User accepts full responsibility for payment, even when the booking is intended for third parties.

• Bookings can be cancelled or rescheduled directly on the platform.
• End clients can cancel or reschedule up to 12 hours before the session without losing credit.
• Cancellations outside this window or no-shows result in automatic loss of the session.
• MySelf Studio reserves the right to cancel bookings due to technical issues, maintenance, or force majeure, always returning the corresponding credit.

The studio is for private use and runs without on-site supervision. The user is responsible for their own safety and for proper use of the equipment. The space must be left clean and tidy after each session.

5.1 Maximum Capacity

• 2 users per session;
• 3 people total when the session is accompanied by a Personal Trainer.

5.2 Hygiene and Equipment

• A personal towel is required during training;
• Equipment must be cleaned after each use (wipes and products are available in the studio);
• Footwear must be training-only, clean, and appropriate;
• Bottles, rubbish, towels, and personal items must not be left in the space;
• Damaged equipment must be reported immediately to studio management.

5.3 Conduct Rules

• Pets are not allowed;
• Moving, displacing, or modifying equipment without authorisation is prohibited;
• The entrance door must remain closed at all times. It must not be left open during or after training;
• Any form of sexual act or inappropriate conduct is strictly prohibited;
• Consumption of tobacco, alcohol, drugs, or illicit substances is prohibited;
• Sharing platform access with third parties is prohibited;
• Recording or photographing other users without consent is prohibited.

5.4 Applicable Fines

• Improper modification of equipment: €150;
• Sexual or inappropriate conduct: €250, immediate account closure, and potential referral to authorities;
• Leaving the door open or sharing access: automatic account suspension.

5.5 Liability for Damage

The user is financially responsible for any damage, malfunction, or destruction of equipment, furniture, or infrastructure caused during their use.

• PTs are independent professionals;
• MySelf Studio is not a contractual party in any financial or logistical agreement between PT and client;
• Technical and safety responsibility for sessions delivered by a PT lies solely with the PT.

• MySelf Studio is not liable for accidents, injuries, disability, or death occurring in the space. The user assumes all risks inherent to unsupervised physical exercise;
• We are not liable for technical failures or external interruptions (including Stripe);
• We are not liable for personal belongings left or forgotten on the premises.

The studio uses CCTV for security purposes only, with visible signage at the entrance and in compliance with GDPR and Portuguese Law no. 1/2005. Using the space implies acceptance of this policy. For details on how we process your personal data, see our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy.

MySelf Studio may suspend or close accounts of users who:

• breach these Terms and Conditions;
• bring unauthorised animals;
• damage or modify equipment;
• leave the door open;
• engage in sexual acts, use prohibited substances, or display inappropriate conduct;
• share platform access with third parties;
• use the platform for illicit purposes.

All website content (text, images, logo, software) is the property of MySelf Studio or its respective owners. Reproduction, distribution, or modification without prior written authorisation is prohibited.

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. For any dispute arising from their interpretation or application, the courts of Lisbon have exclusive jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other forum.

MySelf Studio reserves the right to update these Terms whenever necessary. When changes are significant, we'll notify you by email or through the platform. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the most recent version.
